Skeeter: A Cat Tale Read online

I was cornered. I wanted Angie to move here, but another cat? “Yes,” I said.

In a way, it’s not so bad. Skeeter doesn’t like the orange cat, but Skeeter is staying with Mark now—or rather, with Mark and that little calico heartbreaker. So I only have Angie’s kitten.

He’s a real devil. I wouldn’t have thought anyone could make Skeeter look well behaved, but Angie’s kitten manages it.

This arrangement won’t be for long, though. Angie will be in California in a few weeks. When she gets here, Mark and I are going to combine our two apartments and live together. Maybe we’ll move to a house eventually—if we can rent one where we can have two cats.

  Love,

  Lynne
